GENERATION ONE :

1.~ ~ ~ JOSEF BOTELSAK was born in 1803 and was the son of MARTIN BOTELSAK and ELISABETH WAGNER.  He married CECILIA JOHANNA KRAL on 6 February 1832 in Mantau 25, Bohemia.  Cecilia was born on 27 April 1813 in Mantau. 

Children of JOSEPH BOTELSAK and CECILIA KRAL included:

MARIA ² BOTELSAK, born 05 April 1840 Mantau 25, Bohemia.

MARGARETHA ³ BOTELSAK, born 6 February 1843.

GENERATION TWO :

2.~ ~ ~ MARIA BOTELSAK (MARTIN > JOSEF) was born on 5 April 1840 in Mantau, Bohemia. She married PAUL STRAKA on 09 June 1864 in St Patricks Cathedral, Auckland, NZ and they raised a family of six children. Paul was born on 05 January 1830 in Honositz 21, Bohemia and arrived in New Zealand from Bohemia on the “War Spirit” on 28 June 1863. Paul died on 25 August 1895. Maria died on 15 February 1927.

3.~ ~ ~ MARGARETHA BOTELSAK (MARTIN > JOSEF) was born on 6 February 1843, and died 06 August 1923 in Puhoi, North Auckland, NZ. She married JOSEF HENDL in the Parish Church in Chotieschau, Bohemia and they raised a family of eight children, the first two children being born in Bohemia Josef was born on 21 May 1848 in Lossin 7, Bohemia, the son of THOMAS HENDL and ANNA GATTERA. He arrived in New Zealand on the “Friederburg” on 24 August 1875. Joseph died on 21 December 1934 in Auckland, and Maria died on 6 August 1923 in Puhoi.
