ALBERT HENRY BILLING, who married MARY KATE WENZLICK in 1921 (BDM1921/1398). Albert died on 20 August 1961 aged 78 years; Mary died on 27 August 1945, aged 59 years.

VIOLET MAUD BILLING, who married JOSEPH HELLIER SCHISCHKA in 1913 (BDM1913/2815). She died in 1946 in Tauramunui.

WILLIAM ARCHIBALD BILLING, born 1876 in Puhoi. William married (1) NINA BROADBENT in 1929 (BDM 1929/7588) and (2) ANNIE ELIZABETH BILLING in 1932 (BDM 1932/1939). William died on 14 June 1959 in Auckland.

William was the Postmaster and Registrar of Births Deaths & Marriages at Waiwera between 1891 and 1913. He died on 10 October 1927 aged 83 years and was buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 2 Plot 40)

KARL

1. ~ ~ ~ JOSEPH KARL was born about 1825 in Auberzen, Bohemia. He married ANNA TURNWALD and they arrived in New Zealand with their six children on the ship War Spirit on 27 June 1863. They settled in the Ohaupo area in the Waikato region and Joseph was naturalized on 31 October 1881 as a Farmer of Ohaupo (1881/4764).

CHARLES KARL, born about 1856. Charles married FRANCES CHAPMAN in 1884 (BDM1884/895). Charles died on 1 October 1932 aged 75 years. Frances died on 27 September 1938 aged 74 years. They were both buried at Ngongotaha Cemetery in Rotorua.

ANDREW KARL, born about 1861. Andrew married ELLEN FOX in 1891 (BDM1891/1437). He died 1941 aged 79 years (BDM1941/19328)

Joseph died on 14 August 1884 aged 60 years, and was buried in Rangiaowhia, Waikato. Anna died on 30 August 1906 on 77 years and was buried at Ohaupo Cemetery.

1. ~ ~ ~ JOHANN RAUNER was born about 1844 and arrived on the ship War Spirit on 27 June 1863 aged 19 years, as a single man. He married ANNA PAUL in 1870 (BDM1870/4941). Anna was the daughter of JOSEPH PAUL and MARGARETHE (surname unknown). She had also arrived in New Zealand with her family on the War Spirit.

ELISABETH RAUNER, born 5 May 1872 in Puhoi, North Auckland. Ellisabeth married JOHN BAYER on 4 May 1897 in Puhoi. John was born on 1 May 1871 in Puhoi and was the son of WENZL BAYER and ANNA WENZLICK. Elisabeth died on 2 December 1952 in Ahuroa, North Auckland. John died on 11 May 1948. They were both buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 10 Plot 220 & 221)

ANTON RAUNDER, born 4 June 1876. Anton married ELIZABETH WECH in 1912 (BDM1912/5102). Anton died 5 January 1944 in Puhoi, North Auckland aged 67 years (BDM1944/22965). Elizabeth died on 31 January 1971 aged 80 years. They were both buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 7 Plot 147 & 148)

ADAM ALBERT RAUNER, born 24 December 1877; died 16 November 1956 aged 80 years (BDM1956/25276) and was buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 29 Plot 492)

1. ~ ~ ~ WENZL REISIMA (also know as JAMES WILLIAM REISIMA) was born in 1847 in Nurshan 30, Bohemia. He arrived in New Zealand on 27 June 1863 on the ship War Spirit aged 18 years, and settle in the Waikato region. James married JANE BELL (nee SMITH) ADAMSON in 1881.

HORACE MANLY REISIMA, born 1888 in Ormondville, Hawkes Bay. He married LENA ANDERSEN in 1914 (BDM1914/8709). Horace died on 19 June 1946 aged 58 years, and Lena died on 1 April 1966 aged 74 years. They were both buried at Norsewood Cemetery in the Manuwatu region.

1. ~ ~ ~ BENEDICT REMIGER was born about 1851 in Bohemia arrived in New Zealand on 27 June 1863 on the ship War Spirit aged 12 years. He married MARIA (MARY) RUSSEK in 1871 (BDM1871/4182). Mary was born in Bohemia on 10 December 1850 and was the daughter of ANTON RUSSEK and MARGARETHA MATHIOWETZ. She and her family also arrived on the War Spirit in June 1863.

MARY JOSEPHINE REMIGER, born 1871 (BDM1871/15426). Mary married JOHN WENZL SCHOLLUM in 1890. John was born in Puhoi, North Auckland and was the son of JOHANN WENZL SCHOLLUM and ELIZABETH MARY HARTZEREN. John died in 1948 aged 83 years, and Mary died on 2 April 1960 aged 88 years. MARGARET REMIGER, born 23 October 1877. Margaret married ALBERT SCHOLLUM in 1906 (BDM1906/1597). Albert was the son of WENZL SCHOLLUM and KATHARINA PAUL. He died on 16 August 1970, less than a month after Margaret's death on 23 July 1970. They were both buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 5 Plot 95 & 96)

THERESIA REMIGER, born 17 May 1879. Theresia married CHARLES STRAKA on 18 January 1898 at St Peter & St Paul Church in Puhoi (BDM1898/192). Charles was born about 1870 in Puhoi and died on 25 August 1948 (BDM1948/28583). Theresia died on 23 March 1972. They were both buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery.

ELIZABETH REMIGER, born 1880 (BDM1880/19333). Elizabeth married JOHN KARL in 1901 (BDM 1901/1377).

THOMAS REMIGER, born 1882 (BDM1882/9156). Thomas married CATHERINE EDITH SCHISCHKA in 1915. Catherine was born in 1888 and was the daughter of STEFAN SCHISCHKA (BDM1888/11133). She died on 5 July 1965 aged 77 years. Thomas died on 23 September 1968 aged 86 years. They were both buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 11 Plot 225 & 226).

JOSEPH REMIGER, born 1884 (BDM1884/407). Joseph married ELIZABETH SCHOLLUM in 1912. Elizabeth was born about 1892 and was the daughter of WENZL SCHOLLUM and KATHARINA PAUL. She died on 3 June 1985 aged 93 years. Joseph died on 9 June 1968 aged 84 years. They were both buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 26 Plot 470 & 471).

1. ~ ~ ~ LORENZ TURNWALD was born about 1826 in Bohemia. He married ANNA WACKER and together with their five children arrived in New Zealand on 27 June 1863 on the ship War Spirit. Lorenz was accidentally killed on the journey to New Zealand leaving Anna a widow.

2. ~ ~ ~ BARTHOLOMEW (BARTIE) TURNWALD was born on 25 January 1851 in Bohemia and was the son of LORENZ TURNWALD and ANNA WACKER. He arrived in New Zealand on the ship War Spirit aged 13 years. Bartie married ANNA LOUISA CATHERINE KROHN in 1887. Anna was born in 1865 in Puhoi (BDM1865/28454) and was the daughter of CHARLES KROHN and THERESIA SCHUSTER. They had also arrived in New Zealand on the ship War Spirit on 27 June 1863.

JOHN TURNWALD, born 1888; died 1888 aged 3 weeks (BDM1888/3750)

MICHAEL FRANCIS TURNWALD, born 1889; died 1890 aged 10 months (BDM1890/3273)

ROSEANNA TURNWALD, born 1891 (BDM1891/17961)

JOHN FRANCIS TURNWALD, born 1894 (BDM1894/4327). John was a Trooper with the Imperial Camel Corps (New Zealand) during World War One. He died on 6 June 1917 aged 23 years was buried at Kantara War Memorial Cemetery, Kantara East in Egypt. BENNET JAMES TURNWALD, born about 1896 (BDM1896/4287). Bennet married ALICE BASQUIN KENNEDY in 1925 (BDM1925/5827).

Bartie died on 2 December 1899 aged 48 years. He was buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 23 Plot 439). Anna remarried in 1903 to JOHN JOSEPH WECH. She died on 25 October 1950 at Waiwera aged 85 years (BDM1950/31361) and was buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 23 Plot 440).

3. ~ ~ ~ JOSEPH TURNWALD was born about 1864. He married EVA BAYER in New Zealand in 1879 (BDM1879/203). Eva had arrived in New Zealand as a single woman, aged 18 years, on the ship Queen Bee on 26 October 1872.

ELIZABETH MARY CHRISTINA TURNWALD, born 1894 (BDM1894/15912). Elizabeth married JAMES CHARLES LEO TITFORD in 1918. She died in 1951 aged 57 years (BDM1951/29443)

FRANCIS PAUL TURNWALD, born 1895 (BDM1895/10712).

Joseph died on 25 July 1938 aged 84 years (BDM1938/22224) and Eva six weeks earlier on 9 June 1938 (BDM1938/16623). They were both buried at Puhoi Public Cemetery (Row 5 Plot 97 & 98).
