GENERATION ONE:

1. ~ ~ ~ MATTHEW JOSEPH WECH was born in 1863 in Pilsen, Bohemia. Mathew married ANNA HENDL on 11 February 1890 in Puhoi, New Zealand. Anna was born on 1 February 1868 in Bohemia and was the daughter of JOSEF HENDL and MARGARETHA. Anna died in 1948 aged 80 years.

Children of MATTHEW WECH and ANNA HENDL were:

JOHN MATHEW WECH, born 7 January 1891 in Puhoi, New Zealand. John married AGNUS MARY PAUL in 1913. Agnes was born in 1893 and died on 2 February 1966.

ROBERT JOSEPH ² WECH, born 1892.

MARY ANNA WECH, born 1893. Mary married LEONARD FREDERICK SCHISCHKA in 1913 at Puhoi. Leonard was born in 1897; died 17 April 1951 in Puhoi. Mary died on 26 June 1914 in Auckland.

GENERATION TWO:

2. ~ ~ ~ ROBERT JOSEPH WECH (MATTHEW) was born in 1892 in Puhoi, New Zealand and was the second son of MATTHEW WECH and ANNA HENDL. Robert married CHRISTINA THERESA BAYER in 1919. Christina was born on 21 July 1899 and was the eldest daughter of JOHN BAYER and ELIZABETH RAUNER. Robert died on 13 July 1978.

RONALD WECH, who married MARY JONES.

KENNETH WECH, who married KATHLEEN DELEMAR.

FLORENCE WECH, who married ERIC MASON.

WILFRED WECH, who married ELLEN NICKELSON.

DOROTHY WECH, who married RUPERT BERGER.

BARTLEY WECH, who married JANETTE BERGER.

KATHLEEN WECH, who married REX PARKER.

SELWYN WECH, who married WILMA SCHOLLUM.

NOEL WECH, who married COLLEEN KELLY.

PAT WECH, who married PATRICIA SMITH.

OTHER CONNECTIONS:

o ANNIE WECH married GEORGE LAWRENCE KRIPPNER in 1928. George was born on 1 May 1902 and was the seventh son of JOHN KRIPPNER and MARY STRAKA.

o MARY WECH married TOM COOPER. Mary was the daughter of WENZL WECH and ANNA BAYER.

o ROSALIE WECH was the daughter of JOHN WECH and ANNA SCHOTT. She married VINCENT PLESCHER in 1872. Vincent was the eldest son of CASPAR PLESCHER and MARGARET NAARVAN.

o THERESA ST HELENA WECH married FRANCIS JOSEPH PLESCHER on 29 July 1902 at St Benedicts Church, Auckland. Theresa was born Abt. 1881 and the daughter of JOSEPH WECH and DORA (WECH)

o WENZL JAMES WECH, born about 1872 was the second spouse of ANNA BAYER. Anna was born in 1873 and was the daughter of WENZL BAYER and ANNA WENZLICK.
